Travel Concessions for People with a Disability

Disabled travel concessions.You may qualify for a Merseytravel National Travel Pass if you have certain disabilities which are permanent or are long-lasting (defined by the Department for Transport as having lasted 12 months, or likely to last 12 months, or likely to recur).

The pass will allow you to travel on buses, trains and Mersey Ferries in Merseyside at any time, Mondays to Sundays.

From Monday 3rd July 2017 all ticket machines on local bus services, rail stations and Mersey Ferries in Merseyside will show whether your Concessionary Pass is valid for travel. If you are told that your pass is not valid, you will need to contact us to arrange for a new pass.

To apply you can:
  • print and fill out the form below.
  • take it with the required documents and a passport photograph to any of the offices listed in the form.
  • or send it with the required documents including a passport photograph to Customer Delivery, Merseytravel, PO Box 1976, L69 3HN.
