Travel Concessions for Students Student travel concessions.  

 
If you are in full time education or work based learning and do not receive free travel from your local education authority you can buy a Term Time Ticket for reduced fares on buses, trains and Mersey Ferr​ies. 
 
From Sunday 19th July, young people aged 18 and under can buy MyTicket, the all-day bus ticket which offers travel across Merseyside for just £2. 
 
The tickets are valid from Mondays to Fridays during term times and anyone in full time education or work based learning can buy one.

From 
the 1st September 2015, the age eligibility for young persons' tickets will be extended to 18 years and under.

This means you can continue to benefit from travel discounts, for a much longer period of time or you may now be able to buy and enjoy travel on a Young Person's ticket.
