A vacancy has arisen for a Maintenance Delivery Manager, based in Asset Management, Wallasey.
 
The role of Maintenance Delivery Manager (MDM) is a key position within Asset Management, leading multi-disciplinary teams, including technical and planning staff, to deliver planned maintenance schedules and maintenance requirements across the whole of the Merseytravel estate.  The post holder will utilise the internal multi-skilled workforce to ensure that the planning and delivery of works are coordinated effectively and efficiently and that the appropriate health, safety, environmental and technical considerations are applied.  The maintenance delivery department delivers a service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so although the role predominantly works Monday to Friday, flexibility is essential.
 
The post holder will also be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration (not-procurement) of maintenance term contractors and the procurement of low value, low risk and non-complex contracts.
 
The MDM will represent Asset Management at senior management level and deputise as appropriate for the Head of Asset Management.
