Merseyside Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) oversees the public transport system across Merseyside on behalf of you, the public. Our role is to promote and develop a world class transport network that meets the region's economic, social and environmental needs. 

 

We are made up of 18 councillors brought together from our five districts: Liverpool (6), Knowsley (2), St Helens (2), Sefton (4) and Wirral (4).
