Merseytravel is working to co-ordinate public transport in Merseyside. It is building partnerships with business, transport operators and most importantly, the community to deliver high quality services that meet people's real needs.

Public transport is a means to an end. It should meet the immediate needs of the travelling public - be efficient, cost effective, comfortable, clean and safe.

But it also has a job to help improve the quality of life for everyone in Merseyside. Public transport is a real communicator - it brings people together.
