Saveaway YP 2018

Great news for 2018!

Ticket prices for our Young Person's Saveaway have been frozen and will remain the same as 2017.

The Saveaway is an off-peak ticket that you can use on the bus, train and on the Mersey Ferry* Monday to Friday (except the journeys scheduled to start between 6.31am and 9.29am) and all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. With an All-Areas Saveaway you can travel the whole of Merseyside - as far as Chester, Ellesmere Port and Ormskirk (by rail only).

*You must hold an All-Areas Saveaway for Mersey Ferry direct river crossings only. Saveaway tickets cannot be used on River Explorer cruises.

How much do Saveaway tickets cost?

From 30th October 2017, if you choose to load your Saveaway onto a Walrus card, there will be a £1 activation charge. Please reuse your card to avoid the charge in future.

To buy your Young Person's Saveaway ticket, visit your local staffed rail station in Merseyside, Ellesmere Port, Chester and Ormskirk.

You can also load your Saveaway ticket onto a Walrus card from Paypoint Stores in Merseyside.
