The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority require an exceptional individual with the passion to deliver on our vision of supporting people out of Homelessness.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is leading the way on system change within homelessness across the Liverpool City Region (LCR).  The LCR Homelessness Strategy Team is ambitious about ending homelessness across the region.  The success of our programme of delivery and system change will rely on us building a team of knowledgeable, skilled and driven people to support our work.  The Homelessness Strategy team will have a focus on collaboration with everyone in the city region who is working to end homelessness.
 
That ambition requires a dynamic person who will embrace the development of a Human Learning System approach to commissioning and monitoring.  The role will require you to recognise that outcomes are produced by whole systems rather than individuals, organisations or programmes.  Consequently, to improve outcomes, we need to work to create ‘healthy’ systems in which people are able to co-ordinate and collaborate more effectively.  For people accessing services, it can result in better experiences, better outcomes.  For organisations and systems, it has potential to increase collaboration, enable innovation.  Within the role you will be expected to put learning at the heart of governance.
 
The Officer will need to coordinate and lead on monthly meetings between the service, Local Authority representatives and the CA to ensure the service is responsive to local needs and meeting the requirement of the specification.  Regular contact with the 6 Local Authorities and service provider will be required.  The role will be required to ensure that all contracts are delivered and monitored, reviewed and developed in accordance with the funding requirements.
 
Contract and Monitoring Officer - Salary Scale 27 - £28,977
 
We want people who are passionate and committed to ending homelessness across the Liverpool City Region.  The success of this ambitious programme of delivery and system change will rely on us building a team of knowledgeable, skilled and driven people to deliver this work.
 
The roles will be fixed term until September 2021.
