We’re doing great things to realise our ambition to create a fairer, more prosperous city region for everyone.  Over the last two years, we’ve invested to create 9,000 jobs and 5,500 apprenticeships, established a £500 million Strategic Investment Fund to drive inclusive growth, pioneered new approaches to tackling homelessness and long-term unemployment and delivered a national first UCAS-style apprenticeships web portal.  Our £460 million fleet of new, state-of the-art Merseyrail trains are arriving from 2020 and we’re working to become the greenest, most digitally connected city region.
We are looking for a first-rate Mayoral Communications Manager to join our Communications, Marketing and Corporate Engagement service.  The successful candidate will be a high calibre, creative and energetic media relations specialist with a strong track record in delivering media coverage across a wide range of subject areas and sectors.
