Main Duties:
Part -Time Position – Monday to Friday 9:00am to 12:30pm
SCP 20-23  £21,589 - £24,284 (pro – rata)
The above post has arisen within the Customer Delivery Team.  The Senior Co-Ordinator will ensure efficient and effective co-ordination of the organisations directly delivered services across all customer facing services at the Tunnels, Ferries and Hubs.  Based at Merseytravel Headquarters, Mann Island, the post holder will be required to work 17.5 hours per week fixed pattern of hours 09:00am to 12:30pm.  The post is temporary to 31 January 2020 to cover a secondment of the permanent post holder.
Reporting to the Customer Delivery Team Leader, an innovative approach to working is essential, as is experience of working within a commercially driven customer focused environment.  Responsible for dealing with Smart Ticketing Retail, Tunnel Fast Tag accounts, Mersey Ferries Sales and Concession Schemes ensuring quality control, compliance, revenue protection and maximisation.
A flexible approach to work schedule is essential, as is a commitment to learning and self - development, along with excellent organisational skills and a willingness to embrace change.  The post holder will deliver training and play a key part in the roll out of new products and services within the organisation.
Excellent communication skills are essential, both verbal and written, as the post holder will respond directly to a wide variety of customer queries working to often tight deadlines with competing priorities, ensuring service standards and targets for response times are met.  The post holder will also offer support to colleagues acting as a point of reference for staff queries providing an internal “help desk” service to the wider customer delivery team.
The Senior Co-Ordinator role will cover a range of duties and activities including the investigation and response to customer comments, monitoring contracts with suppliers in terms of quality and service provision, ensuring compliance with Data Protection and GDPR 2018 regulations, Quality Management Standards and Bacs Scheme Rules.  A working knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act, Data Protection Law, BACS scheme rules and Financial Regulations would be desirable.
Applicants should be competent and proficient in all current IT systems including Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel and Powerpoint and have a sound working knowledge of Customer Delivery key systems including Haven Epos, CRM, AVI and CMS would be desirable.
