Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram has officially unveiled our Eurovision-branded train – and now wants you to send in your best photos with the train to be in with the chance of winning our competition!
One of the city region’s new publicly owned £500m trains has been wrapped in Eurovision livery and is currently running on the Kirkby and Ormskirk lines on the Merseyrail network.
Since its introduction earlier this week the livery has been a huge hit with passengers and residents alike, as excitement builds ahead of the city hosting the global event next month.
Everyone is being given a chance to see the train and take pictures with a chance to be a prize winner in a photography competition.
The train is going to be operating in passenger service on the Ormskirk and Kirkby branches of the Northern Line over the next few weeks before appearing on the network over the summer – giving more people the chance to take photos.
It is important to stay safe while taking any photographs – follow the rules of the railway and any instructions given by railway staff, and do not attempt to go anywhere that is not open to the public.
