Islands Brow will be closed in both directions from the junction with Lock Street and the junction with Ewart Road on Saturday 18th/Sunday 19th March and Saturday 25th/Sunday 26th March 2023. The closure is expected to be in place for 2 consecutive weekends.
Route 137 will operate as normal from St. Helens to Park Road then via Blackbrook Road, Chain Lane, Laffak Road to Woodlands Road and resume normal route to Billinge (omitting Merton Bank Road and Islands Brow).
Route 137 will operate as normal from Billinge as normal to Haresfinch, Woodlands Road then via Woodlands Road, Laffak Road, Chain Lane, Blackbrook Road to Park Road and resume normal route to St. Helens (omitting Islands Brow and Merton Bank Road).
