Long Lane, Aintree will be closed at the junction of Longmoor Lane from Monday 13 March until Wednesday 22 March 2023. The closure is expected to be in place for 10 days.
Routes 61 and 61A will operate as normal from Bootle to Longmoor Lane then via Longmoor Lane, Lower Lane, Brookfield Drive to Long Lane and resume normal route to Aigburth (omitting a section of Long Lane). These services will call at the existing stops on Longmoor Lane, near Black Bull; and Long Lane near Brookfield Drive.
Routes 61 and 61A will operate as normal from Aigburth to Long Lane then via Brookfield Drive, Lower Lane to Longmoor Lane and resume normal route to Bootle (omitting a section of Long Lane). These services will call at the existing stops on Long Lane opposite Brookfield Drive; and Longmoor Lane, near Solar Road.
Route 63 will operate as normal from Bootle via Crosby to Longmoor Lane this service will continue via Longmoor Lane, Lower Lane, to terminate at Aintree Hospital (omitting a section of Long Lane, Brookfield Drive and Lower Lane). This service will call at the existing stop on Warbreck Moor near Black Bull.
Route 121 will operate as normal from Aintree Station to Longmoor Lane this service will continue via Longmoor Lane, Lower Lane, to Lower Lane, and resume normal route to Norris Green, Broadway via Fazakerley, Field Lane Estate and Muirhead Avenue East (omitting a section of Long Lane, Brookfield Drive and a section of Lower Lane). This service will call at the existing stops on Longmoor Lane, near Black Bull; and Lower Lane near Aintree University Hospital.
Route 121 will operate as normal from Norris Green to Lower Lane then via Lower Lane, Longmoor Lane, to Hall Lane and resume normal route to Aintree Station (omitting a section of Lower Lane, Brookfield Drive and. Long Lane). This service will call at the existing stops on Lower Lane, near Karonga Road; and Hall Lane, near Longmoor Primary School.
