Planned changes to bus services

Although there were no planned changes to bus services this week, due to the ongoing situation Stagecoach buses will run a revised timetable from Monday 23 March. Arriva are also reviewing their services.

As information can change on a daily basis, customers are advised to keep checking both the national government advice and transport operators websites and social media platforms for the most up to date timetables and to plan ahead. 

Planned changes to rail services

City Line:

For information on any changes please check with the rail operator you are travelling with.

 

Merseyrail:

Merseyrail are currently operating at a 30 minute frequency across all services. As information can change on a daily basis customers are advised to check before they travel.

Planned Mersey Tunnels Closures

The Queensway (Birkenhead) Mersey Tunnel will be closed to all traffic on the following nights whilst we undertake essential maintenance work:

  • from 0000 on Saturday 21 March to 0700 Sunday 22 March
  • from 1900 on Sunday 22 March to 0630 Monday 23 March
  • from 2000 on Monday 23 March to 0630 Tuesday 24 March
  • from 2000 on Tuesday 24 March to 0630 Wednesday 25 March
  • from 2000 on Wednesday 25 March to 0630 Thursday 26 March
  • from 2000 on Thursday 26 March to 0630 on Friday 27 March
  • from 2000 on Friday 27 March to 0630 on Saturday 28 March
  • from 2000 on Saturday 28 March to 0700 Sunday 29 March
