Rethink Travel - how you can help keep everyone safe

Thank you to all our customers for their support and co-operation during the past 16 months.

From Monday 19 July the Government lifted all restrictions as part of Step 4 of the Roadmap but it’s really important that we still act carefully to help keep each other safe.

So, we’re asking you to keep up the good work and follow the below advice so that your journeys continue to be as smooth and safe as possible.

Not used public transport for a while? It’s a good idea to plan your journey as some services have changed while you have been away.

Keep walking and cycling – this is a great way to stay active and reduce your carbon footprint

Face Coverings – are no longer mandatory but we’re strongly encouraging you to wear them especially on busy services and crowded places

Plan your journey – remember more people will be travelling

Check timetables – before and on the day of your journey

Wash your hands – keep washing or sanitising your hands before after every journey

Please follow our key advice and follow the safer travel guidance. Remember that some services may be busier as more people are travelling and capacity is currently still reduced due to social distancing.

For more information please visit the Rethink Travel campaign on the Merseytravel website before you travel.
