Planned changes to bus services

Route Changes

Timetable

Routes 3 and 3A Huyton Industrial Estate - Halewood or Liverpool John Lennon Airport Route 3 journey leaving Wilson Road at 1447 and the route 3A from John Lennon Airport at 1436 no longer serve Arncliffe Road or Camberley Drive on school days, instead they continue along Mackets Lane. Error corrected on the 1815 Monday - Friday journey from Huyton to JLA fixing timings from Belle Vale onwards. All other times and routes are unchanged. 3 and 3A
Route 156  Garswood or Ashton - St Helens or Lea Green  The Monday to Saturday daytime service operated on behalf of Merseytravel by Hattons is unchanged.
The evening and Sunday service between Ashton and St Helens, operated on behalf of Merseytravel by Huyton Travel, is retimed along the route.

Route 602 Newton-le-Willows - Ashton In Ashton journeys now start and finish on Gerard Street, no longer serving the stop on Wigan Road. Arrival and departure times at Ashton are amended accordingly. 602

The route is altered to run from Pembroke Place along West Derby Street onto Mount Vernon Road instead of via Crown Street, Brownlow Hill and Grove street. Returning via the reverse. Times are unchanged.

Routes 79 and 79C  Liverpool - Halewood or Murdishaw

Route 79: No Change
Route 79C: Route is altered to run from Pembroke Place along West Derby Street onto Mount Vernon Road instead of via Crown Street, Brownlow Hill and Grove street. Returning via the reverse. Times are unchanged.

Planned changes to rail services

City Line:

For information on any changes please check with the rail operator you are travelling with.

 

Merseyrail:

There are no planned engineering works on the Merseyrail network this week.

Merseyrail staff are not involved in any strikes, however, strike action in other organisations can have a significant impact on the service they can run. ASLEF and RMT have announced Strike action on the 1 October and it is not clear at this time if, or how, it will impact on Merseyrail services. Please keep an eye on the Merseyrail website for further updates.

Planned Mersey Tunnels Closures

There are no planned full closures of the Mersey Tunnels this week.
