From the 1st September 2015, the age eligibility for young persons' tickets was extended to 18 years and under.
This means that public transport is now more affordable for 16, 17 and 18 year olds with young people's tickets and fares.
Railpass tickets are season tickets if you only use trains for your journeys in Merseyside and as far as Chester, Ellesmere Port and Ormskirk.
