The one-day, off-peak ticket for buses, trains and Mersey Ferries* after 9.30am Monday to Friday and all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. *You must hold an All-Areas Saveaway for Mersey Ferry direct river crossings only.
Saveaways cannot be used on River Explorer cruises.
Saveaway Ticket Options
The ticket now extends to the whole of Merseyside – as far as Chester, Ellesmere Port and Ormskirk (by rail only).

Where to Buy
Saveaway tickets can be bought from all staffed rail stations in Merseyside, Merseytravel Centres, at some libraries and over 400 corner shops. Find your nearest travel centre here or ring Traveline for advice.
Introducing a quick and easy way to buy your saveaway
Same day travel with Saveaway is now even more convenient, with new style tickets available from our new Ticket Vending Machines at Liverpool One and Queen Square Travel Centres.
You can pay with a card (Visa, Maestro or Mastercard) or with cash (sterling) and follow the simple on screen instructions to get your ticket in a few quick steps.
We will soon be bringing ticket vending machines to Travel Centres across Merseyside, helping all of our customers benefit from a smart and convenient way to travel.
