In an effort to develop transparency across the public sector, national government have issued guidelines to public sector agencies asking for the publication of all expenditure over £500 on a regular basis. Detailed below are files detailing all expenditure incurred by Merseytravel on a month by month basis. Please note that, for accounting purposes, up until 31st of March 2017 this expenditure related to financial periods rather than calendar months. From 1st April 2017 the expenditure is recorded for each calendar month.
