“I find it a lot more convenient to walk after having had a baby, especially because I feel like I'm doing a lot of things at once so we can go and get the groceries, we can also get some fresh air and exercise, we can clear our heads; we can see the birds and trees. Being able to do all that, I feel like it's a 'big tick' for my day.
“I feel like my life has changed totally since I've started walking and I can never imagine not walking now. The thought of getting in the car and driving to the local shop baffles me!
“I'd say to someone who would like to start walking more, just give it a go! Walk to the bottom of your road at first, and back up. Walk a little bit further the next time, and you will actually really enjoy it.”
