“I think a bike is a better option than using a car for shorter journeys because first of all, you don't have to find space for parking. Secondly, because I’m not stuck in the traffic so it takes a lot less time to go from one place to the other.”
“I think it really helps with the mental health as well, because some days when you are feeling clouded or a bit stressed, what I usually do is just take my bike out for a spin. So, it really clears up my mind and by the time I get back I'm refreshed.
“For anyone trying to get into cycling, I would say, just do it because it's healthy and you have a lot of cycling lanes around Liverpool City Region. It's safe and, once you’ve got a bike, doesn't cost you anything to cycle.”
