The You’re Safe Here scheme offers a Safe Space to anyone who feels vulnerable, distressed or worried while they are out and about.

If you are ever a victim of crime and need help or are faced with intimidation or other unacceptable behavior, you can look for a Safe Space where staff will know what to do to help you.

They will offer you help and support while you call a family member or a friend to collect you or for the police to arrive.

Lots of businesses and organisations now provide Safe Spaces and they will display this poster so that you know where to go.

Merseytravel Bus Stations and Travel Centres are Safe Spaces. You can go to any member of staff to ask for help if you are not feeling safe. They will

· Listen to you

· Reassure you

· Allow you to use a telephone if you need to

· Offer refuge inside a suitable space while you wait for support to arrive

· Give you information on other support services
