Allport Lane will be closed, between Ambleside Close and The Rake, from Tuesday 21 July 2026 for approximately 2 weeks excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Service 17 (1905 journey from Eastham Rake)
- From Eastham Rake will travel as normal to Bridle Road, then via Allport Road, New Chester Road to Bromborough Village Road, then as normal route to Arrowe Park Hospital (omitting Allport Lane, The Rake, and The Cross).
This service will call at the stops on Bridle Road, opposite Woodyear Road; and Bromborough Village Road, Bromborough Village.
Services 38 and 38A
- From West Kirby will travel as normal to Bromborough Village Road, then continue via Bromborough Village Road, New Chester Road to Allport Road, then as normal route to Mill Park (omitting The Cross, The Rake, Mark Rake, Palatine Road, Ecclestone Avenue, Beechwood Road, Acre Lane and Allport Lane).
These services will call at the stops on Spital Road, opposite Stanhope Drive; and Allport Road, opposite Brancote Gardens. - From Mill Park will travel as normal to Allport Road, then continue via Allport Road, New Chester Road to Bromborough Village Road, then as normal route to West Kirby (omitting Allport Lane, Acre Lane, Beechwood Road, Ecclestone Avenue, Palatine Road, Mark Rake, The Rake and The Cross).
These services will call at the stops on Allport Road, near Brancote Gardens; and Bromborough Village Road, Bromborough Village.
Services 41 and 42
- From Arrowe Park Hospital will travel as normal to Bromborough Village Road, then continue via Bromborough Village Road, New Chester Road to Allport Road, then as normal route to Eastham Rake (omitting The Cross and Allport Lane).
