Mount Pleasant, between Brownlow Hill and Oxford Street, will be closed from Friday 12 June 2026 for approximately 42 days.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Service 699 (Daytime Journeys)
• From Greenbank Student Village will be as normal route to Brownlow Hill, then continue via Brownlow Hill, Clarence Street, Mount Pleasant to terminate at Oxford Street bus stop 42048C. (Omits a section of Mount Pleasant).
• From University of Liverpool journeys will commence from Oxford Street bus stop 42048C then via Oxford Street, then as normal route to Greenbank Student Village. (Omits a section of Mount Pleasant).
Service 699 (Evening and Weekend Journeys)
• From Greenbank Student Village as normal to Brownlow Hill, continue via Brownlow Hill, then as normal route to Liverpool City Centre. (Omits Mount Pleasant).
• From Liverpool City Centre will be via Brownlow Hill, Mount Pleasant, Oxford Street, then as normal route to Greenbank Student Village. (Omits a section of Brownlow Hill and a section of Mount Pleasant).
Alternative bus stop: Oxford Street, Mount Pleasant.
