Queens Drive, between Alder Road and Mill Lane, will be closed on Tuesday 7 July 2026 for approximately 1 night, between 2000 and 0600 the next day.
Bus diversions are as follows:

• From Aigburth will be as normal route to St Oswald’s Street, then via Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Mill Bank, Queens Drive, then as normal route to Bootle Bus Station. (Omits Derby Lane and a section Queens Drive).
Alternative bus stop: St Oswalds Street, near Davidson Street and Queens Drive, near Mill Bank.
• From Bootle will be unaffected.
Services 81 and 81A
• From Speke will be as normal rotes to Queens Drive, then via Prescot Road, Green Lane, West Derby Road, Mill Bank, Queens Drive, then as normal route to Bootle Bus Station. (Omits a section of Queens Drive).
Alternative bus stop: Queens Drive, near Prescot Road and Queens Drive, near Mill Bank.
