Stockbridge Lane will be closed from Terminus Road towards Princess Drive, on Monday 3 August 2026 for approximately 1 day, between 0930 and 1530.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Services 7 and 9
- From Warrington Interchange and Huyton Bus Station will travel as normal to Woolfall Heath Avenue, then via Seth Powell Way to Liverpool Road, then as normal routes to Liverpool (omitting a section of Woolfall Heath Avenue, Terminus Road and Stockbridge Lane).
These services will call at the stops on Woolfall Heath Avenue, near Parbrook Road; and Liverpool Road, near Page Moss Avenue.
Service 13
- From Stockbridge Village will travel as normal to Waterpark Drive, then via Seth Powell Way, Liverpool Road to Princess Drive, then as normal route to Liverpool (omitting Stockbridge Lane).
This service will call at the stops on Waterpark Drive, near Terret Croft; and Princess Drive, near Liverpool Road.
Service 102
- From Aintree University Hospital will travel as normal to Heath Road and terminate at Heath Road, near Stockbridge Lane, bus stop 44008A (omitting Terminus Road).
- From Page Moss will commence from Heath Road, near Stockbridge Lane (bus stop 44008A), then travel via Woolfall Heath Avenue, Seth Powell Way, Liverpool Road to Princess Drive, then as normal route to Aintree University Hospital (omitting Terminus Road and Stockbridge Lane).
This service will call at the stops on Heath Road, near Stockbridge Lane; and Princess Drive, near Liverpool Road.
Service 217
- From Tower Hill will travel as normal to Stockbridge Lane, then via Seth Powell Way, Liverpool Road to Kingsway, then as normal route to Huyton Bus Station (omitting a section of Stockbridge Lane and a section of Liverpool Road).
This service will call at the stops on Stockbridge Lane, near Hillside Avenue; and Kingsway, opposite Gentwood Road.
Service 258
- From Stockbridge Village will travel as normal to Waterpark Drive, then via Seth Powell Way, Liverpool Road to Kingsway, then as normal route to Huyton Bus Station (omitting Stockbridge Lane and a section of Liverpool Road).
