Townsend Lane will be closed Southwest bound, between Newhaven Road and Curate Road, from Friday 12 June 2026 for approximately 8 days.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Services 14, 14A, 14B and 14C
- Services from Liverpool to Croxteth and Kirkby are unaffected.
- From Croxteth and Kirkby will travel as normal to Townsend Avenue, then via Queens Drive, Utting Avenue, Priory Road to Breck Road, then as normal routes to Liverpool (omitting a section of Townsend Avenue and Townsend Lane).
These services will call at Townsend Avenue, near Queens Drive and Breck Road, near Lower Breck Road.
