Planned changes to bus services

Route	Changes	Timetable
3 and 3A Fazakerley or Huyton - Halewood or Liverpool John Lennon Airport	Route 3: No changes. Route 3A: Torrington Drive and Halewood Station are no longer timing points so the times at these stops are now estimated. Times are unchanged.	3 and 3A
10, 10A and 10B Liverpool St Helens or Huyton	Stagecoach route 10A: Remains unchanged. Arriva route 10A: Monday to Friday journeys departing from Liverpool ONE from 0648 to 0745 are retimed along the route. Journeys departing from St Helens from 0622 to 0824 and from 1411 to 1526 are also re-timed along the route. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged. Arriva route 10: The Monday to Friday daytime service is reduced to about every 20 minutes from about every 15 minutes. Times are changed. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged. Arriva route 10B: The Monday to Friday daytime service is reduced to about every 12 minutes from about every 10 minutes. Times are changed. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged. Route 10S: Withdrawn for the summer	10, 10A and 10B
12 and 13 Liverpool - Stockbridge Village circulars	Routes 12 and 13: Monday to Friday and Saturday daytime frequencies are reduced to about every 20 minutes, giving a combined frequency of about every 10 minutes. Times are changed throughout. Sundays are unchanged.	12 and 13
15 Liverpool - Huyton	Monday to Friday daytime frequency is reduced from about every 10 minutes to about every 12 minutes. Times are changed. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged.	15
17, 17A and 17X Liverpool - Aintree University Hospital or Kirkby	The timing point on Walton Breck Road is replaced by Arkles Lane in both directions. Routes 17 and 17A: Monday to Friday time changes throughout the day. Saturday minor amends on journey times between Arkles Lane and Queen Square. Also the 1319 journey from Queen Square is re-timed along the route, now arriving at Aintree Hospital 2 minutes later. On Sundays the 17A journey from Queen Square at 1755 and daytime journeys from Gale Road are re-timed. Route 17 journeys are un-changed. Route 17X: The Monday to Friday 0555 journey from Queens Square now departs 5 minutes earlier and is retimed throughout.	17, 17A and 17X
20 and 20X Liverpool - Towerhill or Kirkby Admin	Route 20: There are time changes throughout on Monday to Friday journeys. Saturday evening times are changed. On Sundays evening journeys from Kirkby and most journeys from Liverpool are re-timed. Route 20X: No change.	20 and 20X
20 and 320 St Helens - Earlestown, Ashton or Wigan	Route 20: No change. Route 320: The Monday to Friday daytime journeys that run just between St Helens and Ashton from 3 to 2 an hour. Some times are changed. The journeys that continue to/from Wigan and Saturday and Sunday journeys are all unaffected.	20 and 320
21 Liverpool - Northwood	There are time changes throughout on the Monday to Friday journeys. Saturday and Sunday journeys from Queen Square are re-timed throughout. From Kirkby the daytime services are unchanged but evenings are re-timed.	21
26 and 27 Liverpool - Sheil Road ciculars	The Monday to Friday daytime frequencies for each service are decreased from about every 10 minutes to about every 12 minutes. Times are changed throughout. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged.	26 and 27
52, 52A and 52E Liverpool - Netheryon, Old Roan or Bootle	Monday to Friday daytime services have been reduced to give a combined frequency of about every 12 minutes. Times are changed. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged.	52, 52A and 52E
60 Bootle - Aigburth Vale	Monday to Friday times are changed throughout, with a slight reduction in service overall. Saturday and Sunday times are unchanged.	60
61, 61A and 61B Bootle - Aigburth Vale	From Bootle: Mondays to Friday routes 61 and 61A times are changed in the morning (before 0900) and afternoon (from 1400), route 61B journeys are unchanged. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged. From Aigburth Vale: Monday to Friday times are changed on all routes throughout. 61B journeys starting after 2030 are unchanged. Saturdays and Sundays are unaffected.	61, 61A and 61B
62 Allerton (Penny Lane) - Bootle (North Park)	Some Monday to Friday times are amended for the summer. Saturdays and Sundays are unaffected.	62
75 Liverpool - Halewood	Monday to Friday daytime frequency is reduced to about every 15 minutes for the summer. Times are changed throughout. Saturdays and Sundays are unchanged.	75
79 and 79C Liverpool - Halewood or Murdishaw	Route 79: The Monday to Friday service is reduced for the summer. The daytime frequency is reduced from about every 7-8 minutes to about every 10 minutes. Saturdays and Sundays are not affected. Route 79C: No change.	79 and 79C
86, 86A and 86C Liverpool - Liverpool South Parkway, Liverpool John Lennon Airport or Childwall	Arriva 86A: The Monday to Friday and Saturday service frequency is reduced from about every 7-8 minutes to about every 10 minutes. Times are changed throughout. The route extension to start/finish at Woodend Avenue, Gaskill Road is withdrawn for the summer. Sundays are unchanged. Stagecoach 86: The Monday to Friday and Saturday daytime frequencies are decreased from about every 15 minutes to about every 20 minutes. Times are changed throughout. Sundays are unchanged. Stagecoach 86C: The daytime frequency is decreased from about every 15 minutes to about every 20 minutes. Times are changed throughout.	86, 86A and 86C
500 Liverpool John Lennon Airport - Liverpool - Liverpool John Lennon Airport	The Monday to Friday and Saturday daytime frequency is increased to about every 15 minutes for the summer. Times are changed throughout. Sundays are unchanged.	500

Planned changes to rail services

City and Other Lines:

Monday 20 July to Thursday 23 July 2026

Engineering work is taking place between Hunts Cross and Edge Hill, closing some lines.

The 23:28 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Warrington Central. A bus will be provided from Warrington Central to Liverpool Lime Street.
