Planned changes to bus services

Route Changes Timetable
16, 16A and 17   Moreton - Eastham Rake

Route 16: No change
Rote 16A: The 1528 Monday to Friday journey from Eastham Rake station is re-timed along the route.
Route 17: The 1640 Monday to Friday journey from Moreton Cross is re-timed and now departs at 1648.
No other journeys are affected.

Planned changes to rail services

City and Other Lines:

Monday 22 June to Thursday 25 June 2026

Engineering work is taking place at various locations in the Liverpool Lime Street area, closing some lines on Monday to Thursday evenings.

As a result:

  • The 22:20 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street service will not call at stations between Wigan North Western and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided from Wigan North Western to Liverpool Lime Street to serve these stations

  • The 22:44 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street

  • The 23:00 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport service will start from Manchester Oxford Road at 23:59. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport

  • The 23:22 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will be bus replaced throughout

  • The 23:30 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout

There are no planned engineering works on the Wirral line this week.

There are no planned full closures of the Mersey Tunnels this week.
