Vauxhall Road will be closed Northbound, between Leeds Street and Phillips Street, on Wednesday 17 June 2026, from 0930 to 1430.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Services 54 and 56
- Services from Thornton and Netherton are unaffected.
- From Liverpool will travel as normal to Vauxhall Road, then via Leeds Street, Scotland Road, Stanley Road, Boundary Street to Commercial Road, then as normal routes to Thornton and Netherton (omitting a section of Vauxhall Road).
These services will call at the stops on Vauxhall Road, near Cockspur Street; and Commercial Road, near Boundary Street.
