Weld Road will be closed in both directions from the junction of Lulworth Road to the junction of York Road on Monday 8 June for approximately 11 days.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Service 49
- will travel as normal from Crossens to Lulworth Road, then via Aughton Road, York Road to Weld Road and resume normal route to Woodvale (omitting a section of Lulworth Road and a section of Weld Road).
Alternative stops: Lord Street West, near Westcliffe Road; and Liverpool Road near Weld Parade. - will travel as normal from Woodvale to Weld Road, then via York Road, Aughton Road to Lulworth Road and resume normal route to Crossens (omitting a section of Weld Road and a section of Lulworth Road).
Alternative stops: Liverpool Road, near Birkdale Station; and Lord Street West near Priory Mews.
Service X2
- will travel as normal from Preston to Lulworth Road, then via Aughton Road, York Road to Weld Road and resume normal route to Liverpool (omitting a section of Lulworth Road and a section of Weld Road).
